The customer’s high demand for data security worked very well in underscoring Siemens Energy’sstrength in cybersecurity and enhanced digital capabilities that include setting up live streams forimmediate support and monitoring of works. A joint outage approach was also carried out in whichthe project team from Germany worked the night shifts to ensure availability for the customerthroughout their normal work hours during the day. By accommodating the customer’s time andkeeping up the service support, it demonstrated the project and local teams’ and commitment andfervor to exceed expectations for this contract that was awarded to Siemens Energy. This furthersolidifies the long-standing relationship and trust that is shared between all parties.

“This outage inspection has been carried out for about half a year not only under immigrationrestrictions from overseas but also under strict prevention of COVID-19 infection. We would like tothank Marubeni Utility Services and Kyushu Electric Power for their cooperation in completing theconstruction without delay over this long period of time.
