SeungTaek Shim officially takes office as the new Country Managing Director for Siemens Energy Korea

On July 26, SeungTaek Shim officially takes office of Siemens Energy Korea as the new Country Managing Director. He joined the company in April 2021 as the appointed successor of Country Managing Director.
SeungTaek Shim brings more than 25 years of experience in energy business and strategic partnership. He joined Siemens Energy Korea from SK E&S where he held position as executive Vice President of Renewable Energy business, M&As and strategic partnerships. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President and Head of Global Growth Support Team at SK SUPEX Council.
SeungTaek Shim began his career in public sector and served as Senior Economic Official and Deputy Head of the Minister’s office in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. He changed his career to private sector in 2000 and later served as global partner at one of the top three management consultancies, Bain & Company.
