Lifeline Donation to Families Affected by Floods in Cambodia

The delivery and handover to recipients was successfully carried out at 2 Pagodas, namely Samdech Yuos Pagoda for 780 families and Toul Sophy Pagoda for 820 families, thanks to the well-organized efforts of all parties involved including the management and staff of Electricité du Cambodge (EDC) and local authorities on 28 November 2020. Each family received 10kg of rice pack, 20 packs of instant noodles, and 10 cans of canned fish.
This flooding is regarded to be the worst in 20 years that has greatly affected the livelihoods of many, as homes were devastated and vast tracts of agricultural land damaged. For Siemens Energy Thailand and Cambodia, it is hoped that this purposeful donation campaign will provide some form of immediate aid and comfort to many of these victims, while the households look to receiving other food assistance and early recovery support.
